I think it’s so great my son is striking out on his own but I’m nervous for him! I love him to death and I want him to succeed but I know that starting your own business is a tough thing to do and I want him to be happy. He was really UNHAPPY at his last job stuck in a cubicle all day and apparently he spent all his time staring at the wall. I helped him look into San Jose T1 and things like that that I knew he’d need to know about to keep the business going and I also talked to a family friend who’s a lawyer who’s going to help him set up his LLC. I love my son so much and I’m just really proud of him for taking this next step – it’s unimaginable to me that he’s got this much courage because I never did anything like that when I was his age. I admire his tenacity and I’m going to do anything I can to help him succeed when it comes to his next business venture. I think it’s really great and I can’t wait to see him take off!

Today I was surfing online to find watches since I am going to skate in the next week or so. A friend of mine recommended that I should try to check out Nixon Watch – they sell cool skate and surf watches. I enjoyed looking at the cool watches they had at the shop and some of the Nixon Watches had the digital style I was looking for. At the moment, I am contemplating on what color would look totally cool.
But first things first, I need to buy a new skate board since my skateboard from last year broke. It fell off the staircases and hit a rock which made me quite upset the past few days. I still need to see if I can just replace some parts but I think its cheaper to buy a full board itself rather than re-creating one from scratch. Summer is almost here I got to get my gear ready.

San Francisco is a city I plan to visit soon. My daughter and her family just moved to Berkeley, California, which sits on the east shore of the San Francisco Bay in northern California. They bought a home there and she checked out www.directstartv.com to be sure her favorite channels were available to her there. I am going out to help her unpack and get settled. They moved with my son-in-law’s business and it was a great move for him. It is a new adventure for their three sons! The culture there is different from what my grandsons are used to in Georgia. It is a more fast-paced society. The boys will be going to a highly recommended private school. They were in private school in Georgia so my daughter sought out the best there for the boys. She will continue her busy career in Berkeley as mother of three active athletes and wife of a company exec! She can throw together a business dinner like nobody can and has too quite often! I am very proud of her!
One of the best things about going to a private school is that it is very exclusive. Most of the time the schooling system is much better than public system and kids get to grow with their classmates. Berkley is a good place for those who have been looking for a place to move, lots of good schools and the environment is very friendly.
