I got Just Energy a few months back and it’s been great for my bottom line. I handpicked an energy provider based on rates and I’ve become a lot more cost conscious ever since I got a pay downgrade at work. I feel lucky though because it was either that or be laid off so there was nothing I could do but take the cut. I’m looking for a new position but it’s tough in this economy and I really am just happy to still be drawing a paycheck at all. My mom’s been great with the savings advice and I’m so happy I worked all throughout college so I don’t have tons and tons of student loansto pay off like some of my friends. There’s nothing better than the feeling of financial security I now have and plan to keep for months to come. I’m working on building up my rainy day fund and that’s the next thing I aim to check off my list. It will just be nice to have a safety net!
